§ Mr. Gareth WardellTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales when and what short-term measures are to be introduced to deal with the long delays experienced by traffic leaving Swansea at the Earlswood roundabout.
§ Mr. David HuntDelays due to the construction of the Earlswood to Lonlas section of the M4 have now been overcome. Earlswood roundabout itself is, however, a source of delay and it is being kept under study in conjunction with the Baglan and Briton Ferry roundabouts, which have already been improved.
It is intended that by 1993 Earlswood roundabout will have part-time traffic signals and will be redesigned to provide better traffic flow.
