§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyWe have made it clear to health and social services authorities in the White Paper "Caring for People" that provision for children with psychological problems is a key component of a proper locally based service for people with a mental illness. There are also important links to be made to the education service. It must be for these authorities to judge what priority they can give to such services in the context of overall local pressure and resources.
