To ask the Prime Minister how many allegations he has received since the answer given to the hon. Member for Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley (Mr. Foulkes), 21 October 1982,Official Report, columns 174–75, about maladministration and injustice in the administration of justice in the Channel Island of Jersey.

The number of such allegations made to me or to other members of the United Kingdom Government cannot be determined without disproportionate cost, but the total is known to be small.
