HC Deb 27 March 1991 vol 188 c407W
Mr. Jacques Arnold

To ask the Attorney-General whether any changes have been made to the running costs limit for the Public Record Office.

The Attorney-General

The running cost limit for the Public Record Office will be decreased by £69,000 from £16,754,000 to £16,685,000 to compensate for a breach in the running cost limit in 1989–90. This follows the normal practice of reducing the limit for one financial year by the amount of any overspend in the previous year.
