§ Mr. YeoThe total housing capital allocations made to the London borough of Lambeth by central Government for each of the last five years are set out below. Actual expenditure on the housing investment programme is also given; this includes reinvestment of capital receipts. Copies of the council's housing strategy statements, which set out in detail the extent to which expenditure on each element of the proposed programme accorded with the council's original plans, have been placed in the Library of the House. The housing investment programme allocation for the year 1991–92 is £33.2 million—the extent to which the council will incur expenditure above this level is likely to depend on its ability to generate receipts particularly from the right to buy.
