To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list the statutory provisions that relate to the offer of corrupt inducements to employees.

In England and Wales the principal legislative provisions relating to the bribery of employees are the Public Bodies Corrupt Practices Act 1889 and the Prevention of Corruption Acts 1906 and 1916. Bribery of a public official is also an offence at common law.
