HC Deb 26 March 1991 vol 188 cc386-7W
Mr. Gwilym Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he proposes to make any further changes to his Department's 1990–91 cash limits.

Mr. David Hunt

Yes. The cash limit for Welsh Office/local authorities' capital is to be reduced by £14,274,000 from £367,588,000 to £353,314,000. At the same time, the cash limit for Welsh Office/Housing for Wales will increase by £14,274,000 from £92,183,000 to £106,457,000. These variations arise from the decisions of local authorities to transfer resources to Housing for Wales to enable housing associations to provide additional housing units.

These changes do not affect forecast outturn for the planning total published in the "Financial Statement and Budget Report".
