§ Mr. ChopeIn addition to those referred to in my answer on 16 November (Vol. 180, column 233), work is to start shortly on modifications to the London Underground structures, Gainsborough road bridge and Whipps Cross tunnel. Noise insulation has been carried248W out on residential properties close to the bridge and tunnel works, and further homes will be offered secondary double glazing prior to the start of the main works. The advance diversion of services is almost complete.
Internal work is being carried out in Leytonstone House hospital so that areas which will be adjacent to the road works can be vacated before construction begins on the Al2 link road between M11 and Hackney Wick.
