§ Mr. RentonI have received a number of representations from hon. Members, and from others, on behalf of the Liverpool Playhouse. Although I have no direct involvement in this matter, I am being kept abreast of developments by the playhouse and the Arts Council. I understand that the appointed administrator is continuing his efforts, in consultation with a range of local interests and the Arts Council, to resolve the company's financial difficulties. I very much hope there will be a successful outcome.
