To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list those persons who have, directly or indirectly, been in receipt of grants from the Historic Buildings Council in each of the past 10 years, while serving as members of the council.

Historic building repair grants are awarded by my right hon. Friend, having first taken advice from the Historic Buildings Council for Scotland. In the past 10 years, one member of the council, Mr. Marc Ellington, has received historic building repair grant on one listed building while serving as a member of the council.

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many grants have been authorised by the Historic Buildings Council in respect of Towie Barclay castle; what has been the value in each case; and in which years they were made.
