Lord Airedale

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the National Parks Authority and all the local people will be consulted before, and not after, any decision is taken to erect four radar/radio masts on the northern boundary of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The Earl of Arran:

In accordance with our normal practice, the Ministry of Defence will follow the planning consultation procedures laid down in the appropriate DoE/Welsh Office Circular.
