§ Mr. Nicholas BennettThere is no requirement for ports to be registered for the importation of waste. The following amounts of hazardous waste were imported through ports in Wales for the year to March 1991: 156 tonnes through Holyhead, 1,346 tonnes through Newport and 5 tonnes through Swansea.
