§ Mr. Michael ForsythThere are 466 long-term care beds at Leverdale hospital and 90 long-term care beds at the Southern general hospital for geriatric psychiatry patients. On 13 march the waiting list for long-term psychogeriatric care was 11.
There are two psychogeriatric day hospitals providing a total of 40 places. The waiting list for day beds was 14 on 13 March.
In addition, there are outpatient clinics and the area is served by four community psychiatric nurses for the elderly.
