§ Sir Wyn RobertsThe statutory responsibility for deciding allocations to the constituent colleges of the university of Wales rests with the Universities Funding Council, taking into account advice from its Welsh committee. It would not therefore be appropriate for my right hon. Friend to seek to interfere in the Universities Funding Council's deliberations on this matter.
