HC Deb 18 March 1991 vol 188 cc18-9W
Mr. Clifford Forsythe

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will list the number of appeals heard and decided by tribunals concerning(a) income support, (b) family credit, (c) social fund funeral benefit and (d) non-income-related benefits during the year 1989–90.

Mr. Hanley

The number of appeals heard and decided during the 1989–90 year is as follows:

Annex D of that report, a copy of which is in the Library of the House, contains a list of grant schemes through which voluntary organisations were funded in 1987–88 and 1988–89. Details of changes which have taken place over the last five years are not available centrally.

Mrs. Margaret Ewing

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will publish in a table under the relevant headings all funding given to voluntary organisations in the most recent year for which figures are available and for the previous four years.
