11. Mr.To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what further discussions he has had regarding the Anglo-Irish Agreement; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Brooke

Matters arising under the Anglo-Irish Agreement continue to be discussed within the framework of the regular meetings of the intergovernmental conference. The last conference meeting was on 31 January. Subjects discussed included political development, security matters, extradition and environmental issues. A joint statement has been placed in the Library and the Vote Office.

18. Mr.To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on his discussions with the Irish Government about the future of the Anglo-Irish Agreement.
