HC Deb 13 March 1991 vol 187 cc534-5W
Dr. Godman

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security in which newspapers and on what dates the Department's local offices in(a) Strathclyde and (b) Inverclyde advertised the availability of both qualifying conditions and application forms for special cold weather payments.

Mr. Scott

It is important to note that not every local office in the Strathclyde and Inverclyde area will have placed advertisements in the local press since the areas covered by the relevant local newspapers often overlap local office boundaries. Advertisements were also placed in the Scottish national press on six separate occasions between 23 January 1991 and 30 February 1991.
