HC Deb 12 March 1991 vol 187 c473W
Mr. Soley

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how much public expenditure in total will be available for housing action trusts in 1991–92, 1992–93 and 1993–94 and in subsequent years; and how much specifically has been earmarked for housing action trusts if they proceed in(a) Waltham Forest, (b) Hull and (c) elsewhere.

Sir George Young

Present planned public expenditure provision for housing action trusts is £10.3 million in 1991–92, £67.3 million in 1992–93 and £69.0 million in 1993–94. Planned provision for 1994–95 will be announced in autumn 1991 following the 1991 public expenditure survey. Specific annual allocations for individual trusts have not yet been made. The amount needed by a trust in a particular year can be determined only when the trust has been established and has drawn up its corporate plan.
