§ Mr. RedwoodThe Monopolies and Mergers Commission report "Structural Warranty Services in Relation to New Homes" was published on 6 March 1991. A copy of the report has been placed in the Library of the House together with a copy of the Department's press notice announcing publication. At the time of publication the Secretary of State also announced a period of consultation on possible changes to the rules of the National House Building Council, to eliminate the adverse effects identified by the Commission.
