§ Mr. John MorrisTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales whether he will ensure that the West Wales training and enterprise council is adequately funded to avoid Duffryn Workshops in the Afan valley closing during the next month.
§ Mr. David HuntI announced on 28 February that over £8 million additional funding would be made available for employment training in Wales in 1991–92. It is the TEC's responsibility to determine which training providers can best meet the training requirements of the locality and to contract accordingly.
