§ Mr. RentonThe office of the Minister for the Civil Service provides appropriate co-ordination for the London child care project. Decisions on establishing and funding child care facilities are for Departments and agencies. In total, there are now 10 nurseries and over 70 play schemes in operation across the country, with more planned.
