To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many new vehicles British Rail currently has on order.

British Rail has on order 111 locomotives, 606 electric multiple units, 490 diesel multiple units, 70 coaches, 745 wagons, and 14 channel tunnel trains consisting of 252 coaches and 28 power cars.
