Friend the Member for Stockport (Mr. Favell),Official Report, column 226. Further resources for the clearance of dereliction will be available through city grant, but it is not possible accurately to identify the proportion devoted to the reclamation of derelict land. It is estimated that £23 million will be spent under the urban programme on derelict and vacant land improvement and £48 million is earmarked to be spent in the urban development corporations on land reclamation and site preparation.
