§ Mr. Gareth WardellTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish for each year since the establishment of the Commission for Local Administration in Wales (i) the number of complaints submitted against each local authority, (ii) the number of complaints investigated, (iii) the number of complaints of maladministration upheld and (iv) the number of (iii) as a ratio of the electorate of the local authority area.
§ Mr. Nicholas BennettThe investigation of maladministration by local authorities in Wales is a matter for the Commissioner for Local Administration in Wales. Much of the information the hon. Gentleman requires can be obtained from a study of the annual reports of the Commissioner published each year since 1975.
