§ Mr. Simon HughesTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he will be making at the EC Environment Council on 18 March in respect of a Community-wide labelling scheme for environmentally friendly products.
§ Mr BaldryMy right hon. Friend will be welcoming the fact that the Commission has now tabled a draft proposal and will be calling for rapid progress. He will, however, be making a number of comments on the detail of the scheme designed to make it more effective and less bureaucratic.
