§ Mr. Dunn
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport (1) when the contract for the M20, junctions 5 to 8, improvement will be awarded;
(2) when he expects the M20, junctions 5 to 8, improvement to be completed;
(3) when tenders will be invited for the M20, junctions 5 to 8, improvement.

§ Mr. Chope
Tenders for the construction of the M20, junctions 5 to 8, improvement, were invited on 1 March. We aim to award the contract by mid-summer this year for completion of the work by mid-summer 1993.
