HC Deb 01 March 1991 vol 186 c630W
Mr. Campbell-Savours

To ask the Secretary of State for Health for each health authority covering the Kent area (1) what is the most recent figure for the number of people on the day patient waiting list;

(2) what was the number of people on the in-patient waiting list in (a) March 1979, (b) March 1989 and (c) September 1990.

The number of day cases waiting over a year fell by 4 per cent. in the same period. Since 1979 the region has increased the number of in-patients treated by 23 per cent. and the number of day cases by 96 per cent.
