§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe British mission to the United Nations in Geneva first raised the matter of the disappearance of Rosanna della Casa, Nicholas della Casa and Charles Maxwell with the International Committee of the Red Cross on 17 April 1991. ICRC delegates in Iraq have since then had many written and oral contacts with the Iraqi authorities. They continue actively to pursue the disappearance of Rosanna della Casa.
We maintain regular contact with the ICRC in Geneva. We have had no direct contacts with the Red Crescent.
