§ 22. Mr. AmosTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will raise with the Japanese Prime Minister, at next month's G7 meeting in London, the question of compensation for second world war Japanese prisoners of war.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydAs I made clear in my reply to the Adjournment debate moved by my right hon. Friend the Member for Castle Point (Sir B. Braine) on 6 June, it is our view that the question of compensation was settled in the 1951 peace treaty.
