§ Mr. HurdDuring my visit to Peking in April, I discussed Hong Kong with senior Chinese leaders. A further round of official talks on Hong Kong's new airport took place in Peking on 18–22 May. The 19th plenary meeting of the Sino-British joint liaison group took place in Hong Kong on 11–13 June. There are also frequent contacts on diplomatic channels.
§ 20. Mr. Michael J. MartinTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he has any plans to visit Hong Kong in the near future.
