§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyMore than 7,000 copies of "The Health of the Nation" have been distributed as part of the consultation process. NHS management and staff, the health professions, patients' organisations, the independent health care sector, employers' and employees' organisations and local authorities have been invited to comment. The views of some 200 voluntary organisations have also been sought.
