§ Mr. DorrellThe Department's chief medical officer has sent a message of encouragement to mark World Diabetes Day. The recommendations in the St. Vincent declaration for the care of people with diabetes in Europe have been incorporated in the Government's Green Paper "The Health of the Nation". We have invited comments on these with a view to the possible development of targets for this country.
