§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyRefunds are already available under the low income scheme for NHS charges incurred for sight tests and also for spectacles provided by the hospital eye service. The review of the administration of the scheme which is now under way, will provide a fresh opportunity to examine the arrangements for optical refunds.
