To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what recent estimate he has made of the number of students in Wales who give up courses in further and higher education colleges due to financial difficulties.

Colleges of further and higher education in Wales have been asked to provide information on the number of students who did not start or continue a course for financial reasons. This information is being collected as part of the monitoring of
