To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what recent discussions he has had with his counterparts in the European Community on the costs of the common agricultural policy.

Mr. Curry

The cost of the common agricultural policy was a major consideration at the recent Agriculture Council which agreed the 1991 price fixing package.
