§ Mrs. ChalkerThere are four full-time social development advisers and one assistant adviser in the United Kingdom. There is one full-time adviser in Thailand and one part time adviser in Barbados. In addition Her Majesty's Government fund 125 social advisers—this includes those in medical health, community development and social welfare—under the aid programme in 29 countries.
