Mr. Terry Davis

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what contribution was made by his Department and the East Birmingham task force to the cost of publication of the "Asian Business Handbook"; who organised the launch attended by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State on 23 April 1990; and who published the book.

Mr. Alan Howarth

The East Birmingham task force contributed £1,500 to the project. The launch was organised by Birmingham Venture, part of the Birmingham chamber of commerce. The handbook was published by the Institute of Asian Business.
