§ Mr. LeighIt is not customary to publish exchanges between the Government and the European Commission which, as in this case, contain information of a commercially confidential nature.
The essential details of the exchanges pertaining to the closure of North East Shipbuilders Ltd. and associated matters have however been made publicly available in the minutes of evidence taken before the Trade and Industry Select Committee in October 1989.
