§ Mr. WakehamMy Department gives financial help to the offshore supplies industry for research and development in five key areas of technology. These are sub-sea production systems, advanced underwater engineering, drilling and production, exploration technology and reservoir technology.
58WTogether with the Natural Environment Research Council, the Department has recently launched a Link programme in hydrocarbon reservoirs. My Department also sponsors a programme of research into enhanced oil recovery, in collaboration with the oil industry.
