§ Mr. John GarrettTo ask the Secretary of State for Employment how he proposes to announce any future decisions to set aside performance targets for the Employment Service agency.
Mr. JacksonMy right hon. and learned Friend has no plans to set aside any of the performance targets which he agreed with the chief executive of the Employment Service. Should circumstances arise which caused him to do so he would inform the House and lodge an appropriate amendment to the ES annual performance agreement in the Library of the House.
