§ Mr. FearnTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what guidance he has given to the Scottish tourist board concerning special provisions for disabled people.
§ Mr. Allan Stewart[holding answer 6 June 1991]: The Scottish tourist board has long recognised the special needs of the disabled and has actively encouraged the provision of adequate facilities in Scotland. The board was one of the national tourist authorities which collaborated with the holiday care service to produce in 1989 the report "Tourism for All" and is, at the Government's request, implementing a Scottish implementation strategy, which is now in its second year.
