§ Mrs. ChalkerSince the fall of the Barre regime in January 1991, there has been no nationally accepted government in Somalia. We are in constant contact with British aid agencies and the United Nations. We have provided food aid and £1.25 million relief to help Somalia refugees in Ethiopia and Kenya.
