To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will now refer the situation in Jammu and Kashmir to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights.

We expressed concern about the situation in Kashmir at the United Nations Human Rights Commission meeting in Geneva on 27 February, in a joint European Community statement.
