§ Mr. SpearingTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will place in the Library copies of each of the responses he has received to his proposals for de-regulation and privatisation of bus services in Greater London.
§ Mr. FreemanWe have received over 200 responses to the consultation paper "A Bus Strategy for London", many of which are lengthy and detailed documents. I do not see a case for bearing the cost of placing in the Library566W copies of all these documents. I shall, however, arrange for a list of respondents to be placed in the Library. An announcement on the Government's conclusions, following the consultation exercise will be made in due course.
