(2) what steps he is taking to offer financial support to the National Association of Young People in Care.
§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe association is one of a range of voluntary organisations which is routinely consulted on policy and practice developments. The association has submitted an application for funding in the current financial year. A meeting to discuss this was held with representatives of National Association of Young People in Care on 9 May when further information was sought about their proposed new structure. A final decision about funding will be made shortly.
