§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 2 May 1991]: There is no designation of land as "areas of outstanding natural beauty" in Scotland, but some of the places in question are part of national scenic areas identified by the Countryside Commission for Scotland. None of the locations forms part of an environmentally sensitive area or a site designated under the Ramsar convention on wetlands of international importance.
