Mr. Vaz

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action he has taken with regard to Mr. Paul Anderson and Mr. Nigel Comley's request to the British embassy in Addis Ababa to leave Ethiopia.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

Although the airport remains officially closed, the British embassy was able to arrange for Mr. Anderson and Mr. Comley to leave Addis Ababa for Nairobi in a private charter aircraft on 6 June 1991.
