§ Mr. DorrellThe Department has no evidence of risks to users of condoms which have been vulcanised by an irradiation process. The process is understood to be used in the far east for some rubber latex products, mainly gloves. The major suppliers of condoms to the United Kingdom market employ other methods of vulcanisation.
