§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe post-registration education and practice project has been undertaken by the United Kingdom Central Council for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting (UKCC). I understand that the UKCC has just completed consultation with the professions on the project report and that it plans to discuss the outcome with the United Kingdom Health Departments in due course. Any specific proposals addressed to the Health Departments will be considered at the appropriate time.
