§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many meetings with consultant ophthalmologists and general surgeons regarding initiatives to reduce the appropriate waiting list he has conducted during each month since January 1991.
§ Mr. Nicholas BennettI met general surgeons at Prince Charles, Morriston, University hospital of Wales, and the Royal Gwent hospitals and consultant ophthalmologists at the University hospital of Wales and Singleton hospital at a series of meetings on 24 and 29 May to discuss waiting list problems. In addition I have discussed the matter when visiting other hospitals over the past six months.
